"Twitch" was a hound belonging to the the Pale Ones.
Personality[]
Of the three, he is the most antsy, always on guard and always paying close attention to his surroundings. Uhuru notices he often tries to wander away from the Pale One's control.
Appearance[]
Like the other two hounds Jesiza takes with him, Twitch is a dirty blackish brown, though this is later revealed to be dirt and muck built up on the fur from lack of washing. Aggressive like any other hound, his original personality is unknown.

In The Forges of Dawn[]
He was one of the three Jesiza took along when he decimated Uhuru's family. The Red lyonesse suspects several times that he's caught her scent and knows she's there, but simply doesn't have a proper voice to tell his master such. He is the hound that allows Uhuru to learn of their kind's aversion to water.
It is unknown if Twitch died or lived long enough to be changed back into a normal lyon upon Vireka's death.
